This summer we visited Newport RI for the Folk Festival and while visiting, I enjoyed snapping shots of the many dogs about the streets of Newport. This little chap had to stop for a quick sniff of an empty trash barrel while out for a jaunt with his owner.
With the warmer weather and sunshine today in New Hampshire, I was thinking about summer and remembering our Newport visit with fondness. I pulled out the photos today and was inspired to paint this little sketch.
